YOU WILL NEED:

1 box Belgian Chocolate Cake Mix
2 egg
2 egg yolk
1 cup water
1 stick salted butter, melted

Soaking Syrup:
2 tsp sugar
4.5 tsp instant coffee powder
4.5 tsp rum or water

1 bag Vanilla Frosting Mix
1 1/2 lb Mascarpone, room temperature
3 tbsp Marsala wine

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 350ª F, Follow instructions on chocolate cake box to prepare cupcake using the ingredients above. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
  • For the soaking syrup, stir ingredients together. Make sure sugar and coffee are dissolved.
  • For the frosting, whip mascarpone with vanilla frosting mix. Add marsala.
  • Assembly. Quickly dip the tops off the cooled cupcakes into the syrup. Scoop mascarpone cream on top and spread with desired design. Dust with cocoa. Enjoy!
